Will there be a DEAD tour anytime soon? Caught the show in Alpine Valley a few summers ago w/ Warren on guitar. Really solid post Jerry show. Loved the Reuben & Cherise with thousand island dressing

The other point worth noting is that it has been almost decade since they played a tour as the Dead. They have each gone their own musical ways and I doubt highly that they could all drop their egos and their styles to tour.

That seems to be the case. They've gotten themselves so wrapped up in individual projects that coordinating a tour which matches all of their schedules would probably amount to a huge juggling act.

I asked about this a while back and got the same responses. Gonna take a lot at this point to get them all together. I also doubt Herring will come back if they do reform. As for Joan, I kinda liked her. Warren I thought was overkill. Great player but they didn't need 3 guitars

I just wish Billy and Mickey would go on tour again, I would love to see those two playing together.

Sure doesn't sound like it to me. IF they were going to do it I assume they'd be hitting the lucrative summer tour. I saw them at the Gorge in 2003, which was a cool venue, but thought the show was fairly lackluster. I don't mean to complain because I was grateful to see them but I didn't dig too much on Joan, plus the setlist ended real weak imo. I'd rather see Ratdog myself, ESPECIALLY with Kimock. BTW - I think the Other Ones were way better for two reasons

Kimock and Hornsby.

I am totally with you about Joan. The show I am talking about was Minus her.
